Today is the same as yesterday. And yesterday is the same as the day before.
30 November 2005 - 22:30
Yup, everything that had occurred for the past two days, went onto today as well. Except that I'm blogging today. haha.... Not funny.
i have nothing to say and nothing to share. My life is really boring don't you think? The only thing that was bothering me for the past few days were phone calls from "he who must not be named." i'm sure you know who this guy is. The only person who doesn't admit that he is Chinese.(oops, giving to much hint here)
i was planning to get myself out of the house today, so that I'll not get myself stuck onto the computer. but i failed. as i was about to get ready for my outing, i was attracted by thang that i laid my big fat ass on the chair and started playing it. it was as if thang was some kind of drug that wants you to have more of it. Someone, please help me.
nah, that wasn't the reason that stop me. i was just lazy. You know the kind of mood you get when the holidays come.
and some of you will go like "you mean guo hua can be lazy?"
then, I'll go like "you mean I'm not human? Come on."
in any case, I'll try to get myself out of this place which i call home, home of the games - "thang".
so, see ya...
lucky me...
29 November 2005 - 15:50
as usual, i was coped up in my room, all alone at home playing "thang" the whole day. but who cares, it's "thang" we're talking about.
anyway, as i was playing thang today, lady luck was seem as if she was with me the whole time. i was able to collect some of the very rare armors for emmanuel's character, whose items cost like a bomb if he would to buy them from the shop.
moreover, i met many wired people who offered to pay 10 times the price for a common item and gave me a leather armor which would cost me a bomb. this goes to show shows that "Thang" is filled with many nice and really rich people.
that's all for today. ta ta...
unable to keep up with blogging........
- 06:30
two days have passed without blogging.....sorry.
i was too into "thang" that i couldn't find time to blog...or maybe i had nothing to blog about.....hmmmm?
after reading justin's blog, i have to agree to a certain extent that the HOLIDAYS are indeed BORING! we students literally have nothing to do. the things that we had planned during school days do not seem to entertain us much when the holidays arrive. all the entertainment seem to vanish as the day passes...
if we are not meeting up with friends, we'll be lazing at home watching television or playing electronic games. or maybe just sitting around in the house, holding onto junk food and start munching on them as if we are really hunger. worst come to worst, we'll just be SLEEPING for realllllllllllllllllly long HOurs.
of course, some may argue and say that "this is not true. there are so many things you can do out there." yah, there are so many things you can do out there when you turn 20 or 21.
then some will go like "that's not true. i mean you can take up sports, go to the gym and do something that is good for both your mind and body." and you mean playing chess to build up your brain power and join some outdoor activity or camps? i think i'll pass them.
not to say that i'm not a very sporting person or a lazy person, but these are things that keep you physically and mentally strong. these are things that you do for keeping yourself active. you can do this even during school days. so, come on!
"how about taking up a job?" whoa, that sounds really interesting, but to work for one month doesn't really sound pleasing.
so, my question to you is what do you feel about the holidays and what do you really recommend students to do during holidays? (students who are below 17 years old)
well, when the school days are finally here, we students will go like "school days are really BORING! we have nothing...... no entertainment... books make me sick.... teachers are going on and on again... i hate.... Argh!!!"
and so the cycle goes round and round again...................
Registration PAE
25 November 2005 - 15:20
yup, today is the start of the registration for the PAE. and if you do not know what PAE stands for, it is called Provisional Pre-U One Admission Exercise.
it is an exercise where graduating students from schools get to choose to enter into a JC or MI for the first three months, based on their Preliminary results. the purpose is to let these students to have a feel of JC/MI curriculums as they await for their "O" level results. and then, i'll not go any further..................... to know more, visit this website http://www.moe.gov.sg/corporate/preu.htm and click 'A' Level Subjects at H1, H2, and H3 Levels for 2006 Curriculum.
sigh... after looking at the cut off points of all the JCs, it seems impossible for me to get into the JC i want for the first three months. CJC which everyone thought was easy to get in at first, has now obtain a cut off points of 14 for arts and 13 for science.
i had a hard time choosing the JC we hope to get in with my friend. the only few that we could get in with our points are JCs that are out of civilization. they are so FAR away!
all i can hope for now is that i get myself into SRJC during the first three months and pray that i can enter a college that is to my preference when i get my "O" results.
nevertheless, life still goes on. so be happy with what you have (you know who i'm referring to).
CHEERS!
The blog that tells yesterday...THANG
- 07:00
i didn't blog yesterday because i was so engrossed in this online game called "THANG".
it is something like Diablo where you send your character around killing monsters and picking items, dien(money) and later selling items away that earns you a misery amount. but, when it comes to buying stuff, it'll cost you a BOMB.
at the start of the game, you'll get to choose a character from three different tribes. you have a sorceress, a jungle girl and a warrior. different characters possess differant awesome powers that kill enemies obviously, duh. however, the sad thing is you have to buy these skills and use them quite frequently in order to attain them at a higher level with higher attacks. the requirment of this game is that you must have the determination and patience to play this marvellous game.
all in all, the game is truly addicting and exciting especially to pepole who enjoy playing quest games. if you're interested go to this link at http://thang.ongameport.com/. that is if you're not afraid to be mock at for being a beginner...hahaha. right emma?
so much for talking. got to get back and train my warrior. ta ta and see ya.
The day has finally come...
24 November 2005 - 03:40
after a long and tedious journey,
we have finally reach our destiny.
fighting through the fearsome storm,
we have learnt to be courageous and be strong.
though the days were hard and tough,
and much sweat and blood have covered the raft,
we stayed united and brave,
not willing to be defeated by the waves.
unexpected tragic came and went,
one after another that never seems to end.
we grumbled and fought,
shouted and thought,
when can we escape from this plot.
now from sailors we become captains,
sailing our own ships with our own new recruits.
waving our hands may we say good bye,
as we depart in our own lullaby.
covered with uniform that is silver and white,
we feel our surroundings an atmosphere of pride.
no more rough work, no more sweat.
but much more commanding, and much more leading.
listening to the waves, breathing in the salty air,
all we see is a peaceful sea.
the load we have once on our shoulders,
has finally give way to our thoughts.
memories of you start flooding into my mind,
how i wish i was back in time.
a smile on my face that stretches like rubber,
a stream of tears that flows like river.
how i wish our ships will one day collide,
may we see one another in the big wide sea.
we made a pact to meet 3 moths later,
i can't wait to see them any later.
as for now come what may,
we hope to stay in contact where you be.
no matter whehter is the past, present or future,
you'll be the friend who i always remember.
My first blog
22 November 2005 - 02:15
Hello everybody!
Today is the birth of my blog. (Mark this date)
And many of you will go like "Guo Hua has a blog!?"
Or rather some of you will go like "You mean Guo Hua has a blog!?"
Or some will say "Guo Hua has a blog..... Well....?"
In any case, yes, I do have a blog and is staring right in your face like that.
When such a occasion arises for one to celebrate, one must have many things to say. But it seems like I have nothing to rejoice about. Or maybe I am just not thinking what to write. (LAZY)
However, reading this excuse dose not give you the right for not visiting my blog in future, especially when some of you force me to read his/hers.
So, do come back and visit my blog. To do what? To obviously read my blog, duh. And tag, tag, tag.
See ya!
