the best scene of mamma mia
08 October 2008 - 01:25
I am too tired to write now. So I am leaving you a video and song of the best scene from the movie MAMA MIA.
Enjoy.
Caution: Some parts of the scene gets a litter blurry but will die off a while.
The winner takes it all
Enjoy.
Caution: Some parts of the scene gets a litter blurry but will die off a while.
The winner takes it all
I don’t wanna talk
About the things we’ve gone through
Though it’s hurting me
Now it’s history
I’ve played all my cards
And that’s what you’ve done too
Nothing more to say
No more ace to play
The winner takes it all
The loser standing small
Beside the victory
That’s her destiny
The loser standing small
Beside the victory
That’s her destiny
I was in your arms
Thinking I belonged there
I figured it made sense
Building me a fence
Building me a home
Thinking I’d be strong there
But I was a fool
Playing by the rules
Thinking I belonged there
I figured it made sense
Building me a fence
Building me a home
Thinking I’d be strong there
But I was a fool
Playing by the rules
The gods may throw a dice
Their minds as cold as ice
And someone way down here
Loses someone dear
The winner takes it all
The loser has to fall
It’s simple and it’s plain
Why should I complain.
Their minds as cold as ice
And someone way down here
Loses someone dear
The winner takes it all
The loser has to fall
It’s simple and it’s plain
Why should I complain.
But tell me does she kiss
Like I used to kiss you?
Does it feel the same
When she calls your name?
Somewhere deep inside
You must know I miss you
But what can I say
Rules must be obeyed
Like I used to kiss you?
Does it feel the same
When she calls your name?
Somewhere deep inside
You must know I miss you
But what can I say
Rules must be obeyed
The judges will decide
The likes of me abide
Spectators of the show
Always staying low
The game is on again
A lover or a friend
A big thing or a small
The winner takes it all
The likes of me abide
Spectators of the show
Always staying low
The game is on again
A lover or a friend
A big thing or a small
The winner takes it all
I don’t wanna talk
If it makes you feel sad
And I understand
You’ve come to shake my hand
I apologize
If it makes you feel bad
Seeing me so tense
No self-confidence
But you see
The winner takes it all
The winner takes it all......
If it makes you feel sad
And I understand
You’ve come to shake my hand
I apologize
If it makes you feel bad
Seeing me so tense
No self-confidence
But you see
The winner takes it all
The winner takes it all......

Welcome you and welcome me back. Time flies and it is already the second week of October 2009. If you are still floating aimlessly in your wonderland dreaming of all those things you have been dying to do, it is about time for you to get cracking. Cos before you know it, it is 2010.
Like how I have spent my "vacation" for the past 6 weeks or so before school starts in the week to come. Going back to school on every odd days (i.e. Monday, Wednesday and Friday) has been my routine. Spending close to 7 hours a day from 10 am to 5 pm, training for Worldskill competition which many have been asking what the hell is that. Basically, is a national competition where competitors from all polys and ITE are competing in all kinds of trades that involve skills from cooking to doing facial and the involvement of mechatronics and machines and many more. The trade that I am in is called IT and software where we compete to see who has a better understanding and knowledge of the commonly used software, Microsoft Office 2007.
Now you maybe wondering how difficult can it be to deal with Microsoft word, excel, PowerPoint and access. I mean everyone uses them in their projects or office work these days. So what's the big deal? The people who set the question papers are the problem here. The tasks we are asked to accomplish are sometimes so mind wrecking that you don't really have the mood to continue on. These setters are told to create a paper which can never be completed within the given period of time and to make life easier for us, they are told to set questions such that we feel demoralise doing them. There are skills that sometimes we find it hard to apply in our daily used of Microsoft office that I find it hard to comprehend where did they get all these creative ideas from.
Anyway, enough of that. Can't wait for next week to be over as that would be the end of the competition which is held 3 days straight from Thursday to Saturday starting at 8 am everyday in the far lands at ITE East. Time to be up at secondary school time.
On the brighter note, these 6 weeks have been great fun meeting friends from secondary and JC. Spending time with them has been my best vacation moments ever. Chatting, catching a movie and dining together though look so simple yet they hold so much meaning.
There are so many things I would like to share during our conversation, but I will leave that for later as this load of information should be quite enough to fill your mind.
Until then, stay strong and see poly mates next Monday at 8 am (OMG!) for FYP (OMG x 2!).
Secondary pals, hope to see you guys this weekend.
JC buddies (3 guys) who I (1 guy) watched Mamma Mia with last Saturday, let's meet up real soon.
