NS Medical Checkup, go CRAZY
22 December 2008 - 12:57
Went to CMPB the second time to finish up the last round of checking and that's the brain test aka IQ test. If I remember correctly, there are altogether 5 to 6 sections each given a time limit of 15 minutes to answer 20 to 30 questions. So if you do the calculation, you will probably spend close to 2 hours answering the questions which you won't probably finish as your brain gets fried after the first 30 minutes.
How was the test like? Think from common sense to logic test to Mathematics to Physics to English to navigational test to personal interest to memory test to... I can't think of any. But you get the drift.
Though the questions may look easy, they can be quite tiring. Imagine, to look at shapes in the most oddest positions and predict the next pattern. Staring at dots and circles, and visualising its next position in the given picture. Making comparison to words that confuses you half the time.
In any case, at the end of the test, you won't get to know the results of your intelligence, but you can safely tell yourself that you are not that smart after all. If I happen to be posted in some division that doesn't require much brain work, then I probably know what's the caused and how I fair during the test. =]
On the brighter note, the medical checkup went pretty smoothly except for my abnormal heartbeat during the first test. But all seems alright now, and I've been posted to PES A. Heard that it isn't a good thing cos you will be the first to go in any situation and for everything they do. Hope everything goes smoothly when I get enlisted.
