I am pretty much into Beyonce's new album call I Am... Sasha Fierce. 16 awesome tracks. Great lyrics, great vocal, great songs. Have been hooked on them for days. Songs that calms your nerves. Songs that makes you wanna dance. Go catch them if you haven't.
I have been missing for quite a few days. Those days were the best. The Charmed Brothers of 3 met up for dinner at man's place on Saturday. I've been looking forward to his mum's wonderful dishes. Especially those meat muffins I think. Suddenly I forgot what they are called. But they are simply the best. Love those.
It has been months since we met. Spoke about everything that falls under the sun. Stupid things actually. Back in those days when we are young and innocent. Divas' statement of the day "菊花茶不要冰" which means "chrysanthemum tea without ice" but with Tamil accent. 9+ years of friendship never seems to have fade even a single bit.
Then come Monday. I had a blast. Went for Coldplay concert at the Singapore Indoor Stadium. It was thrilling and exciting. My first "appearance" to a famous live band concert. The place was packed and is full-housed I tell you. Everyone was screaming and singing along to every songs. It was a pity I didn't listen to their album first, Viva la Vida. But still every moment was worth spending and thanks man for the invite.
If you haven't gone to any live concerts, you should really go for one and experience the atmosphere yourself. By the time you get home, your ears will be buzzed by this "wong wong" sound as if bees are around your ears. But that aside, another great album to listen to. Though is a little dark and echoic but still great songs are worth listening.
As for the job interview at Jurong East, I gave it a miss as I found a better one. Still in the deciding stage, I hope everything goes well.
Speaking of job hunting, to all
DBIT graduates, my junior Lishi who is an intern for her attachment in
Kelly Services (I think) is looking for
long period committed(if you are not planning to study)
CUSTOMER FULFILLMENT EXEC.
Your job will be doing
Project Management,
dealing with MS Office and
IT applications. The pay is pretty attractive, around
$1,800. If you are interested, email your resume to
lishi_chen@kellyservices.com.sg. She will give you a call before forwarding your resume to the company.
Don't wait, act quickly. I really think the offers and job scopes are pretty reasonable and manageable. Give it a try if you haven't found a job yet. For more information, you can text or tag me and I'll ask her on your behalf. You can also email her and mention my name. P.s I am not receiving any benefits from this. Haha =]
I guess the news of NUS acceptance has been released over the past few days. I am glad to share that I got a place for a degree in Computing. To be accepted by a university is like a dream I and some of us (you know who) would never dare to imagine. Receiving such news is like a scroll from heaven. To have wasted a couple of years, I think all is worth it. (Though there are time I really wonder if they are really...).
Nevertheless, I congratulate those who have received their acceptance. To those who have yet to receive any news, no worries, there is still NTU and SMU. Don't lose hope, as you are in control of your own future. Plan and plan again if one plan has failed.
So I guess I will be seeing some of you during Graduation ceremony 26 May 2009. Remember to arrange a day for us to go down and choose our robe together. Weekdays evening and weekends preferred. For more information on Graduation related and details of the price to rent or buy the robe, click
