Met up with Joshua and Victor last Saturday for dinner at Dhoby's Fish and Co. I think you will know where. Too bad Yan Shan couldn't make it. But we'll meet up soon. I'm really happy and amaze to catch up with these friends who I met during the first 3 months of JC (aka PAE). Sometimes I really wonder what keeps our friendship. Though we don't really communicate a lot and we have known one another for only a couple of weeks when we first became friends, there never seem to be anything we can't talk about. The 4 of us, somehow has this fascinating bond that I feel puzzled yet joyful about. Anyway, had a great time with them.
So, the results were officially released at 10 am today and later at 2 pm for the dip plus results. The school kind of lied in a sense that they announced the timing yet they send you email and SMS informing you much earlier. If you are caught unprepared or you have a very bad day, or just maybe you have a great day and all of a sudden you open the message, you see the results and...
Well, all I can say is I'm pretty much happy with the results. Was pretty shock though. Imagine the module PM which I was totally lost as first and at last, but somehow, the score fair so much better than the rest. And ADBMS, the killer module, was much better than ESSP which I thought I could score with the help of the 2 excellent reports. The rest were pretty much expected. So overall, I think I did OK. I hope all of you did well too. =]
Graduation ceremony will be held on 26 May 2009. I am in a dilemma. Ain't sure if I should be attending or give it a pass. The surprising news if you guys happen to not notice is that my course, DBIT, will be graduating with the School of Business (SB). All these years, I thought we will be graduating with the School of Digital Media and Info com Technology (DMIT), but the list said otherwise.
The best part is that I have to attend 2 ceremony to collect my results. One for my Dip Plus certificate under DMIT and the other for my DBIT certificate under SB. So, I'll be in school at 8:30 am for DMIT graduation and attend another round of graduation ceremony at 2:00 pm with SB. I guess I'm the first student to have to attend 2 Graduation ceremony. Thinking of it feels quite funny. But I get to graduate with my friends in DMIT and SB .
So, anyone going for the ceremony? If you are, do give me a tag or message. It will be great if we all attend. Never know when is the next time we will be meeting again . =]
And with the release of the results, I'm pretty much lost now. No longer a student, I feel empty. Waiting to be a soldier, I feel anxious. Ain't sure what the future holds and what must I do now? I received a call from PROMO to go down for an interview next week. The office is all the way down west near Jurong East Station. Any one of you heard about this company?
All I know is that I will be going down to big supermarket and I will be promoting products to consumers. I can imagine those people who we see at the streets promoting their woks and irons, saying how good the product is and demonstrating the products. Then all the uncle and auntie will ask questions like whether the product really works and all. If that's the case, doesn't that mean I have to learn how to cook in order to perform the demonstration =?
Counting down on the days where I will be arranging an outing for SB club. I heard some of them have head off to Cambodia for 13 days of community service. I guess they should be back by this week. So, the outing should be somewhere next week or so. Will inform you guys when the week draws nearer. It should be on one of the weekends. Any idea where to go? I am thinking of visiting the ZOO, Bird Park or watch a movie(taking up about 15 seats =]). Hahahaha.
Of course I will not forget the rest of you. I think Winnie is arranging something for all of us so that we can gather. Will ask her soon and see the progress. Hope you guys respond to her when she calls.
To Dram Mama people, you know who you are. I somehow got Marcus talking here. We have to meet as a group one of these days. Busy people, you know who you are again, give us a day, please. Haha.
And whoever wants to meet, you can always tag or message me =].
Will be quite busy for the next couple of days. The poster competition is due on 26 Mar 2009. I have to apply for IDA scholarship by the end of this month. And lots of paperwork to be sent to the different Unis. Haha. In the meantime, enjoy and ENJOY!
